Holiday routine: what skincare do you really take with you?

On vacation, your skin primarily needs simplicity
Before a vacation, many people pack their toiletry bag as if they are going to open a small beauty salon in the hotel bathroom. Understandable, but usually your skin benefits more from a calm basic routine than from twelve products that you already forget to use at home.
When traveling, enough changes already: sun, air conditioning, different water, later bedtimes, more time outdoors, and perhaps different food. Therefore, keep your skincare routine manageable.
This is a smart basic routine
- A gentle cleanser for SPF, sweat, and makeup.
- A hydrating serum or light moisturizer.
- A cream that keeps your skin comfortable.
- A good SPF for every day.
- Optionally, a soothing product for after sun, heat, or air conditioning.
It's better to leave products your skin isn't used to at home. Vacation is not the ideal time to test a new active routine. Your skin wants relaxation, not a test week.
Puur Diana advice: compose your routine from cleansing, serums and boosters, creams, and sun protection.
Want to pack compactly? Then choose products you actually use rather than minis that are primarily cute. Cute doesn't cleanse SPF from your face.
