Daily Sun Protection:
why SPF is for every skin
SPF is not just for holidays. Your skin is exposed to UV radiation all year round — even on cloudy days, even in the car, even just on your way to work.
Daily sun protection is one of the simplest and most effective steps you can take for long-term healthy skin.
What does UV radiation do to your skin?
There are two types of UV radiation that reach your skin daily. UVB causes sunburn. UVA penetrates deeper and damages collagen and elastin — the building blocks that keep your skin firm and supple. The effects of UVA are not immediately visible but accumulate over time: fine lines, pigment spots, loss of firmness.
Much skin damage is not caused by one day of too much sun, but by small daily exposures that you barely notice. Lunching outside, a short walk, sitting in the car — it all adds up for your skin.
Why daily SPF use is so important
Slowing down skin aging
UV radiation breaks down collagen faster than any other external process. Daily SPF is therefore the most proven anti-aging measure there is — cheaper and more effective than many serums.
Reduced chance of pigment spots
Do you have a sensitivity to pigment, or are you working on reducing existing spots? Then SPF is not an option but a necessity. Sun worsens pigment and keeps discoloration visible longer after pimples or irritation.
Support for skin treatments
Are you using active ingredients — such as vitamin C, retinol, or AHAs — or have you undergone a treatment? Then your skin is more sensitive, and you need extra protection. Without SPF, you partly counteract your skin improvement efforts.

Many people with acne-prone skin skip SPF for fear of clogging or a greasy feeling. It's a shame — this skin especially benefits from good protection. Sun worsens redness and discoloration after pimples and keeps old acne marks visible longer.
A light, non-comedogenic SPF belongs in a routine for blemish-prone skin.
How to use SPF correctly?
- Apply SPF as the last step of your morning routine, after serum and day cream.
- Are you outdoors for a long time? Reapply during the day.
- For daily use in the city or office, once in the morning is sufficient.
- Cloudy or not — UV radiation always reaches your skin.
Is SPF only for summer?
No. UV radiation is present all year round. In spring, the sun's intensity increases significantly; in autumn and winter, protection for your face is still relevant. Make it a regular habit — just like brushing your teeth.
